Pair of OBP Adjustable Rod End Cups for BMW E36 / E8x / E9x / Z3 / Z4

The pair of OBP adjustable rod end bushings for the BMW E36, 1 Series E8x, 3 Series E9x, Z3, and Z4 replaces the upper shock absorber top mounts on the front axle while adding wheel camber adjustment. This solution is particularly well-suited for BMWs equipped with threaded coilovers and for cars tuned for sporty driving, track use, or competition.

Adjustable wheel camber allows you to fine-tune the front suspension geometry based on the suspension setup, ride height, tires, and intended use. In particular, this adjustment lets you tailor the car’s handling and tire grip when cornering.

These shock absorber top mounts use PTFE-coated carbon steel rod ends. This more direct mounting reduces unwanted movement at the shock absorber’s upper mounting point and promotes more precise suspension operation.

The OBP cups are machined from solid 6061 aluminum and then anodized. They feature a 17 mm rod end bore. Reducer inserts are available separately to adapt the mounting when the diameter of the shock absorber rod requires it.

Sold in pairs to fit the entire front axle, these adjustable cups are compatible with many BMW models: E36, Z3, Z4, E81, E82, E87, E88, E89, E90, E91, E92, and E93.
