ARP Connecting Rod Screw Kit for Peugeot, Citroën TU, and Volkswagen G60

Mounting for original connecting rods and adaptation for TU* engines

This kit is intended solely for compatible original connecting rods. It should not be considered a universal fastener kit for forged connecting rods or replacement connecting rods.

* On TU engines, a slight modification to the bolt head is required. The round head must be given a flat spot by lightly grinding a small area to allow it to rest against the connecting rod stop and prevent the bolt from rotating while tightening the nut.

This simple modification will preserve the contact patch beneath the head and the transition spoke between the head and the bolt shank. Then, check the positioning and rotational lock of each bolt before assembly.

Follow the ARP tightening specifications applicable to part number 104-6002. ARP also requires that the connecting rod top end bore be re-machined to specification after installing the new bolts.
