Battery Chargers

Discover our selection of competition battery chargers, designed to maintain, recharge, and preserve the batteries of rally cars, circuit cars, historic race cars, and sports cars.
In motorsports, a reliable battery is essential to ensure quick starts, a stable power supply to electrical equipment, and immediate vehicle readiness. Between races, during storage, or during workshop maintenance, a suitable charger helps prevent deep discharge and extends the battery’s service life.
Our lineup includes chargers compatible with various battery technologies: lead-acid, AGM, GEL, or lithium LiFePO4. Depending on the model, you’ll benefit from advanced features such as automatic charge maintenance, recovery of deeply discharged batteries, battery status diagnostics, and stabilized power supply during electronic adjustments.

Why use a racing battery charger?
Racing vehicles are sometimes left idle for several days or weeks between uses. During this time, ECUs, circuit breakers, data acquisition systems, and other electrical components can gradually drain the battery’s charge.
A racing battery charger helps keep the battery ready for use and minimizes the risk of failure at the start of a race. Smart models automatically adjust the charging current and voltage based on the battery’s condition, eliminating the risk of overcharging.

A Charger Suited to Every Battery Technology
Before choosing your charger, it’s essential to identify your battery’s technology and capacity.
Lead-acid, AGM, and GEL batteries require a specific charging program, while LiFePO4 lithium batteries must be used with a compatible charger. Some multi-technology chargers allow you to select different programs to maintain multiple battery types with a single device.
For competition vehicles equipped with a lightweight lithium battery, opt for a charger that includes appropriate BMS management and protection against abnormal temperatures or voltages.

Our CTEK, SHido, and Optimate battery chargers are suitable for a wide range of motorsports applications:

  • maintaining charge between races;
  • recharging after a day of track driving;
  • winter storage of a race car;
  • preparing a rally or track car;
  • electronic diagnostics and tuning in the shop;
  • maintaining batteries in classic or infrequently used vehicles.

Some models also feature a stabilized power supply mode, which is particularly useful when programming an ECU, troubleshooting, or making adjustments with the engine off.
