The performance of a battery is the most sought-after element in motorsport. For a lithium battery to perform optimally, it needs to be properly charged.

To help you do this, Shido has created a dual battery charger with a unique, optimized algorithm for safely charging both LiFePO4 lithium and lead-acid batteries.
It is recommended to start charging your battery with very low voltage and current, as applying high values at the very beginning of charging on a discharged lithium battery will lead to premature battery failure. Similarly, using chargers with voltages in excess of 15 volts for any length of time will seriously damage your lithium battery.

Shido dual chargers also ensure that your batteries maintain their charge once charging is complete, by checking the voltage every four hours. Once the battery voltage drops below 12.8 volts, the charger starts charging again.
