With its three selectable charging modes, it automatically adjusts the voltage and charging method to the battery technology to ensure optimal charging, accurate diagnostics, and fully automatic charge maintenance.
With a 6 A charging current and an intelligent 9-step program, this charger is particularly recommended for sports cars, off-road vehicles, RVs, tractors, boats, motorcycles, and any vehicle equipped with a 12V starter or auxiliary battery. Once the battery is connected, the OptiMate 6 Select V2 fully handles the recovery, charging, testing, and trickle-charging processes without requiring supervision.
OptiMate SAVE mode automatically recovers a deeply discharged battery starting at 0.5 V. For lead-acid and AGM batteries installed in the vehicle, recovery is performed using a safe process. For LiFePO4 lithium batteries, the battery charger monitors the condition of the cells and automatically interrupts charging if a fault is detected to prevent any risk of overheating. It also features a BMS reset mode for compatible lithium batteries.
The OptiMate 6 Select V2 also includes a Power Supply mode that provides a stable voltage for vehicle diagnostics, programming, troubleshooting, or adjustments. Its automatic temperature compensation adjusts charging parameters based on weather conditions to optimize charging throughout the year.
