Die Zündkerzen NGK in Platin verfügen über eine Mittelelektrode aus Platin oder sogar über die Mittel- und Masseelektrode. Durch die Verwendung von Platin kann die Betriebsdauer der Kerze verlängert und die lineare Leistung auch bei intensiver Nutzung aufrechterhalten werden. Die geringe Größe der Elektrode ermöglicht eine geringere Nutzspannung und optimiert die Verbrennung.
