Cooling fluid temperature measurement with this VDO cooling fluid temperature sensor is based on a resistive signal ranging from 287.4 to 22.7 ?. This model covers a temperature range of +40 to 120 °C and uses an M14×150 connector.

The 287.4 to 22.7 ? outlet must match the electrical characteristics of the gauge or indicator being used. An identical display range is not sufficient to guarantee compatibility. The 94 °C ± 3 °C alarm contact provides a separate function from the measurement, designed to control a compatible warning light.
