The VDO cooling fluid temperature sensor (+40 to 120 °C ) transmits cooling fluid temperature data to a compatible instrument. Its 5/8-18 NF-3 connection determines the mechanical mounting on the circuit.

The outlet range of 287.4 to 22.7 ? must match the electrical specifications of the gauge or indicator being used. An identical display range alone is not sufficient to guarantee compatibility. The 98 °C ± 3 °C alarm contact provides a function separate from the measurement, designed to activate a compatible warning light.
