The VDO oil temperature sensor (+50 to 150 °C ) transmits oil temperature data to a compatible instrument. Its M14×150 connection determines the mechanical mounting on the circuit.

The outlet range of 322.8 to 18.6 ? must match the electrical specifications of the gauge or indicator being used. An identical display range alone is not sufficient to guarantee compatibility. The 135 °C ± 3 °C alarm contact provides a function separate from the measurement, designed to activate a compatible warning light.
